We are thrilled to reveal the Top 10 contemporary dance artists/collectives selected from our 2024 Open Call! These talented artists will present their works at the first edition of the Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase, which will take place from 10 May to 13 May 2025 in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Rijeka (Croatia), and Zagreb (Croatia).
The artists/collectives chosen to participate in this event are (in alphabetical order):

Filiz Bozkuş Al: GONG (Turkey)
Saša Božić: AGENDA (Croatia)
Emese Cuhorka & Csaba Molnár: Masterwork for Six Dancers (Slovenia)
Simona Deaconescu & Vanessa Goodman: BLOT - Body Line of Thought (Romania)
Stanislav Genadiev: Saline Nebula (Bulgaria)
Linda Kapetanea & Jozef Fruček: Silence (Greece)
Christiana Kosiari: RUNWAY (Greece)
Barbara Matijević & Giuseppe Chico: Screenagers Vol.2 (Croatia)
Marko Milić: DILF (Serbia)
This showcase will highlight the best in contemporary dance from the Balkan region, offering a platform for these visionary creators to share their work with local audiences and international professionals. The Moving Balkans Showcase will foster collaboration and artistic exchange, creating lasting connections between artists, producers, and audiences.
