JAN ROZMAN (SI)



Jan Rozman is a choreographer, performer, and dancer based between Ljubljana and Berlin. He works with expanded choreography, object somatics and humor, creating stage works that reflect and criticize the post-internet logic of the Anthropocene. A graduate of HZT Berlin’s SODA masters program, he also holds a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Ljubljana.


Rozman was a recipient of the Ksenia Hribar Award for Promising Choreographer in 2019. His notable works O (die shOw) (2024), (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ screamage (2023), THINGS THING (2021) and Thinging (2018) performed at festivals such as Gibanica, CoFestival, PAF, No Limits, and Augenblick Mal! Thinging won the main prize at the 10th Gibanica Biennial (2021), while THINGS THING received several awards, including recognition at the Slovenian Puppetry Biennial (2021) and the main prize from the children jury at the Wildwechsel Festival (2023).
