The Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Platform, a new collaboration of Balkan dance professionals, officially launched at the beginning of 2024. Co-funded by the European Union, it aims to elevate regional contemporary dance and enhance its competitiveness in Europe. Through festivals, mobility initiatives, workshops, and partnerships, its goal is to foster creativity and innovation.
Esteemed international partners - Art Link Foundation (BG), Students’ Cultural Center Novi Sad (RS), Albania Dance Meeting (AL), Contemporary Dance Association Slovenia (SI), Croatian Cultural Center Rijeka (HR), Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance (HR), DAN.C.CE UNITIVA (GR), EN-KNAP Productions (SI), Interart Culture Center (MK), Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture (SI), and The National Center for Dance Bucharest (RO) - join forces to shape the region's dance scene. Through this dynamic project, we aim to bridge cultural divides and celebrate Balkan diversity.
